Selling a Business

Our five cornerstone methodology ensures your outcomeis maximised when selling your business
Successful business owners are usually highly skilled at running their business – but when it comes to selling, outside help can be invaluable.
We work with entrepreneurs exiting their business, aiming to:
  • Maximise their exit value
  • Do so with respect and discretion
  • Deliver an excellent business to the buyer
As an entrepreneur, you’ve likely spent a large part of your life building your business – so when it’s time to capitalise on that energy and effort, we strive to:
  • Maximise your return on investment
  • Find a buyer who will:
  • Respect your hard work
  • Keep on your staff
  • Minimise disruption to your customers
Our principle dealmaker, Tony Wiese, has successfully concluded over thirty M&A transactions

Exit Strategies

Your exit could take several forms, depending on issues like timings and the desired level of continued association after a sale. Exit strategies may include one or more of the following options:
  • A trade sale to a strategic buyer
  • A merger with a complementary business, followed by a trade sale to a strategic Buyer
  • A leveraged management buy-out (MBO) by key management or family members
  • A strategic private equity investor or fund, partly cash-out, followed by a full exit
  • Taking the company public to the ASX via an Initial Public Offering (IPO)

Our Methodology

Our M&A model aims to deliver the best result, backed by a proven track record –and our methodology is based on five cornerstones:
Gaining a complete understanding of your desired outcome
Understanding your strategic edge and differentiators, your market sector, and competitors
Developing an exit strategy based on the five exit options on the page above
Advising on the most appropriate methods for sale-readiness, including everything from due diligence to accountancy and legal
Presenting only to highly qualified buyers or investors who meet the desired criteria
We aim to facilitate an exit that is both discreet and strategic, for the best possible return.
You have direct access to 25 years of experience and proven deal closures. So confident of success are we that if Tony agrees to take on your M&A deal, there will be no upfront fees, no retainers, no hourly rates but only a success fee payable on agreed milestones.
